Gods - a scifi adventure

This is a short science fiction movie clip called "Gods".



The story:
The earth changed after the Great War.
The planet became a battlefield.
People moved out into space.
Various military groups fighting
over the few energy resources
that remain.
A strong military
group called gods controlling
most energy sites and keep
them under surveillance by
drones and satellites.

Ambitious project. That's a lot of movie in 3 minutes! Your cityscapes were amazing, loved the dust, smoke & camera movement, it all set a very dark mood. Costumes & music were also excellent. Would have preferred a better voice for the computer & a grammar checker, but that's ok. Had a slight issue with 2 effects. First the little floating balls with the projected holographic rotating wheatabix or chex cracker. When we're close to them they look great. Usually they're stationary at that range or spinning slowly. But when we see them in longer shots & they're traversing the frame, their movement feels very forced or animated, not the movement of a real levitating drone, or whatever they are. The other effect I felt was lacking slightly was the little craft our man is flying in. When we first see it from the rear quarter, it looks great. But when we drop down to come thru the roof for the final interior shot, the ship looks too clean from the exterior, not as if it's weathered, in any kind of light, or possesses any texture. It looks as if the animator ran out of time before applying the skin, grime, light, etc.

Otherwise, very impressive.
