Fight sequence shot with GH2 and edited with FCPX

This is the first time I shot or edited a fight sequence so it's a sloppy mess, but it was pretty fun and a great learning experience. This is a school project that I made to promote a play at my school. The costumes weren't ready so the director of the play told me to shoot in the dark like this which made it pretty difficult to make it look the way I wanted. It was also shot in our TV studio so I had a rough time getting low angle shots without seeing all the studio lighting above.

I used the FCPX "Cartoon" effect to stylize the video to look more like the poster at the end. Not my best work, but a good challenge.

Also shot with the GH2 and the flowmotion hack and the 20mm panasonic prime lense. I like the GH2 but the color profile sucks.

Well, anyone should feel lucky to have that as a promo for their theatre attraction. Good work man. Even though I was listening to it on a computer with people talking in the background...the music and SFX worked really well as far as i could tell. And the darkness you got in the studio helped more than hurt it in my opinion. What you can't see is just as important as what you can..but seeing your edit tells me you know this. I dont know if the cartoon effect was something you needed to do....maybe just apply some of the Looks apple brought over from Color. Made me want to see it though!
