Ok, so this is just the trailer - but I've been working on it for a while and I'm excited to share.
Of course, all done in FCPX. The one speed ramp was done with Twixtor, which is essential for that kind of work. Spent a whole day testing and found FCPX's built in tool not quite right for ramping.

Now is this a feature film or a documentary. The trailer comes across as documentary.

It is a documentary. A feature length documentary. I think the term you are thinking of is narrative. Any film over 60 minutes (regardless of topic) can be considered a feature film. film is running at about 90 minutes right now.
And I tell you, a feature I am missing is the ability to just export a section. Compressor is too damn slow to cut it and copying into a new project is a pain in the arse.

How was your experience? Considering it's a documentary, I can imagine you had to be working with a big amount of footage. Especially in documentary cases, FCPX's keyword-features are a big plus. How was stability and other experiences working with it for a big project?
Thanks,

Sorry it took me so long to get around to answering this!
It's been pretty great. I started with 10.0.0, so as new features are added and the stability improves, it's been getting better.
The keywording is amazing. Honestly, the program just lets me edit.
However, with ML I'm noticing some major bugs. And because not a lot of people are using it yet, I find that workarounds and answers are harder to come by. These are serious bugs.
Like:
1. Connected video clips below the primary storyline tend to jump into the primary storyline (but still act like a connected clip)... super weird.
2. Lots of spinning beach ball when the project gets large or I start to work with stuff ripped from youtube, etc (even when using proxy files) - I think this is a frame rate thing.
3. At one point the project was taking forever to load... realized using Event Manager X would help.
4. Often FCPX will just keep playing and not respond to the keyboard for a minute or two.
So.... some things to iron out. My project is 90 minutes long and contains hundreds of clips, a lot of compound clips, multicam, you name it. I am using 5 different events with a total of 2850 items. Quite a bit... My iMac seems to keep up though and I'm slogging through. Over all I still think even with the bugs it's helping me get done faster.

What are your hardware specs? I'm curious cause I don't have any of those ML bugs on my MP.
