Simon Ubsdell's service... was created by sidderke
Just wanted to vote out loud for Simon Ubsdells service.
I bought Tokyo Pipinator a couple of days ago. It was our first assignment of that kind to edit on FCPX, and I was a bit reluctant to buy the plugin, because I didn't know if the plugin would do enough of what I wanted for the price. I went ahead and bought it.
Together with SquidFX borders-plugin I got great and fast results. Untill, at about 7PM, I noticed that there probably was a bug in Pipinator, because the last 5 frames of every shot where I put the effect on, there was something weird going on with the reflection of the Picture-inPicture.
I mailed Simon trough his website, and to keep my message short: in less then an hour from me discovering the bug, Simon had found it, fixed it, and uploaded a new version of his plugin trough FxFactory. I could work further on my assigment in one hour, instead of having to wait for months and missing my deadline.
That's some great service there. I can recommend both plugins, by the way. They work beautifully together and I get faster results and much nicer results then doing PiP's by hand (which we did in FCP7).
