improved compound clips fcpx

We continue the look through the new features in the recent 10.0.6 update to Final Cut Pro X. This week our normal duo of Steve and Mark take a look at new functionality with compound clips.

Compound clips have been around since 10.0.1, but the latest update has brought some new functionality to this handy way of grouping or 'flattening' a selection of clips. In this latest edition of MacBreak Studio, Mark Spencer and Steve Martin show you how compound clips can be stored in a project, be globally modified or updated one by one.

Ripple Training have a great $29.99 2 hour long Final Cut Pro X 10.0.6 In Depth tutorial which will expand on this and the other new features which were added in the recent update.

If you want to start from scratch and prefer learning from hard copy, their two books on FCPX and Motion are still in print and available from Amazon.
