Want to know more about the effects within FCPX? Or maybe you want to know how important metadata is within Final Cut Pro X? These set of videos will get you up to speed.
We wish we could regularly attend the Los Angeles Final Cut Pro User Group meetings. First of all the weather would be better, secondly we would get to hear the great FCPX presentations they host.
The recent meeting had Larry Jordan and Philip Hodgetts present. Larry needs no introduction, the man who coined the the phrase 'jaw dropper' (maybe now seen as a reaction to what has been left out of FCPX) talks about the effects within Final Cut Pro.
Second up is Philip Hodgetts who has been championing the use of metadata since metadata started metadating. He has also released a book called 'Conquering the metadata foundations of Final Cut Pro' which is well worth purchasing for a better understanding of how important metadata is for us editors.
