The first FCPeXchange held at the weekend was a great success. Good speakers and a good turnout. Promoted by FCPWORKS and FCP.co, we thought we would publish a few pictures of the event.

Great to see Final Cut Pro X getting some attention in Los Angeles which traditionally is a very, very Avid oriented city.

The first FCPeXchange was held at AbleCine in Burbank on Saturday the 24th of October and was received so well that the second event is already in planning for January. 

No videos yet, we hope to have them posted exclusively on FCP.co by the end of the week. We do however have a set of photos to show how the event went.

Sam Mestman demoed a wide range of new plugins and solutions including XEffects News Graphics, Color Finale and SliceX, the merits of X2Pro and the brand new Tangent Element mapping for FCPX he just finished working on.

Philip Hodgetts helped close out the show with a demonstration of power of Lumberjack System and metadata- with tons of Q&A from the crowd all along the way.

In addition to the recording going on in the presentation theater- a hot off the production line Ursa Mini 4K EF from Blackmagic with a 50mm Canon Cine Prime was used to capture the event.
