Using Camera Generated Proxies in FCP

We are all used to the excellent proxy workflow in Final Cut Pro, but what about using camera generated proxies?

In this new tutorial video, I demonstrate how to work with camera-generated proxies in Final Cut Pro. This means that you can have a proxy workflow without having to convert all your original clips in FCP first.

I cover:

  • Prepping Proxy Files
  • "Faux" Proxy Workflow
  • Real Proxy Workflow
  • Generating Proxies in FCP
