Hi,
I usually do Motion transition with object mask with other images and works fine.
I'm making this real simple transition in Motion. Like real simple!
I'm probably missing something that is there in my face.
When I export it won't work in timeline. It does seem allright in the browser.
Published what I needed.

Be sure your Canvas is set to Fit.

UPDATE: SOLVED works as planned.
Restarted FC and Motion.

UPDATE 2: Not solved. Worked then stopped!

Update: Finely solved. It was as I predicted quite a stupid thing.
I simply forgot to update when I made changes by double clicking on the Title.
