Gradient or mask to color wheels filter 05 Nov 2020 09:55 #110721

Hi,
I need to apply the "color wheels" filter or similar (color correction) only to a well-defined portion of the image, is it possible to do this? The ideal would be to be able to apply the filter through a gradient because in some areas I have to lighten more in others less Thanks!! |

Yes, once you add a colour correction (colour wheels or colour board or whatever makes you happy) you can select either a shape mask, which might be what you're looking for here, or you can also do a colour mask so that you're only affecting specific colours. If you search for Ripple Training on YouTube they have some really great, short videos that can help you with a lot of specific stuff like this in FCPX.
Best of luck! |

Not in Motion, only in FCPX is that built-in.
In Motion, you'd have to apply a mask separately. Maybe even make a duplicate of the clip above itself. support.apple.com/guide/motion/mask-a-la...93/5.4.6/mac/10.14.6 |
