avid codecs have never made the jump to 64bit, you had to separately install them. not part of apple codec package. use davinci resolve instead (free suffices) or EDITREADY

3rd party paid - however, the free shutter encoder does it too! it uses the old 'slow' codecs though. avid, of course, never updated.
