Hi,
Nothing special on this footage. I have already imported all the footage except the first take which will not import.
Anyone else has experienced videos not importing.
Workaround for now:
I imported the file into compressor and exported a Prores 422. I then imported it in FC.

Try changing the extension. Compressor won't recognize the mp4 files from my Sony mirrorless unless I change the extension to m4v even though FCP sees them fine. If this is the only file in the entire batch (say from the same shoot) there could be a problem with the file itself which in that case it's good you converted it. (Had a problematic file once that eventually corrupted to the point it could no longer open, play, or be converted.)

This had a .mov extension.
I am happy it was the only one not importing !
