Some time last year I published some things about FCPX and subtitles. I promised to update the article. I did the first thing but never published.

In my archive I found the updated version. It's not really up to date - I didn't double check the links.
But it might be helpful for some people. Let me know.

In this context some good news: DCP import will be implemented for XTI very soon.

So XTI does cover most of the popular subtitle formats: Spruce STL, EBU STL, EBU TTML, Subrip SRT, Web VTT, YouTube SBV, Flash DFXP, Adobe PPro DFXP, iTunes ITT, Windows Media Player SMI — and Texas Instruments DCP, SMPTE DCP
