Haven't downloaded yet (on holiday) but got an email from a Chris at Apple Pro Apps telling me the request for a resizable text field box had been added. I obviously don't assume I'm alone in the request but to get back to me via email - that's excellent customer service.
The most notable change so far after loading in these updates is that switching between projects seems much faster. Often do this to copy graphics into new projects. The change is incredibly fast now. Operating on a quad core 2.8 Mac Pro.
There are interface graphical glitches such as the timecode has lines running through it and the text is displaced, paste attributes icons are just jaggy white blocks. And some general performance issues that need sorting in El Cap. So nothing major but these will need to be fixed when it gets released in to the wild.
"This is Michael from Apple Pro Apps. Thank you for your feedback.
Yesterday, we released a Final Cut Pro X 10.2.2 update, which includes a resizable text entry field in the Inspector. In addition, the update includes fixes for a crash that could occur when trimming clips in the timeline, a crash that could occur when replacing footage in the timeline, and an issue in which some clips will show an incorrect frame rate in the Inspector. Whenever you have a moment, please install it from the Updates tab of the Mac App Store, and report back if this solves your issue. If the update does not yet appear, please check later as your Internet service provider may take time to refresh its servers."
I saw another one to someone else where they mention the mask bugs are also fixed. I wish they would put this in the release notes.
