Mark Spencer and Steve Martin return with another edition of MacBreak Studio, this time they take Motion 5 for a spin.
One great feature of Motion is that it enables you to build quite complex animations quickly that don't rely on keyframes. In this new episode, Mark Spencer builds a road using shapes and paint strokes, then animates a car following the road using behaviors.
What is really cool is the fact that the layout of the original road can be adjusted and the car will automatically follow the new path!
Once again, great information for motion graphic designers, although this is a fairly simple example, the process can be applied to much more complex designs.
Many thanks to Steve & Mark, don't forget to check out their training books for FCPX and Motion.
