When Mark and Steve recorded this MacBreak Studio, they probably didn't realise it would get eclipsed by the Mac Pro and other announcements from Apple yesterday. Some good Motion tips on behaviors in this episode.
This week's episode of Mac Break Studio is another great example of how easy it can be to perform animations in Motion using behaviors. Mark Spencer shows Steve Martin how applying the quantize behavior to a second hand on a clock can make it step rather than sweep smoothly.
This method can be used for a lot more things than just a clock hand, the behaviour can be applied to XYZ transforms and other parameters, not just spins
As always, great advice from the duo, it's just a shame it got slightly lost in the Mac Pro newsfest!
If you would like to know more about using Motion, there are some great tutorials by Mark Spencer on the Ripple Training website.
