final_cut_king_toonfx_fcpx

The first word that springs to mind when we saw this new $35 pack of pre-keyed and animation capable elements & characters was 'original.' Released now for Final Cut Pro X & Motion, you can add these cartoon elements to your videos.

Well where do we start? With a package so unique it's hard to describe in just one sentence. The original set of 100 cartoon characters and elements were launched for After Effects about a month ago. Due to the demand, the Toon.FX pack has now been released for Motion and therefore Final Cut Pro X. You might recognise these as the same elements from the AE orientated VFXBRO.

We think the best way to take a look at what the elements can do is to watch this music video that demo's them rather nicely.

The special introductory price of $35 for Toon.FX though Final Cut King is good until June 5th. For that you'll get all the elements and Toon.Fx training. The course is split up into 11 lessons and will show you how to use Toon.FX in your videos. Like any effect that has a moving camera, good tracking skills are necessary for the elements to realistically appear as part of the scene. The course and practice footage weighs in at a hefty 1.37GB download.

We are a bit confused about the VFXBro Final Cut King linkup, but we thought that as this product was so unique we would give it front page pixels. We would be very interested to to hear from users of the pack to see how easy it is to integrate and animate the elements into a video.
