I'm starting this thread so anyone getting live info from the FCP dev team's dog and pony show tonight can post what they're hearing / seeing, and spontaneous reactions.

I'm asking folks to keep this thread clear until we start getting definitive information posts when Apple starts later tonight.

I'll be monitoring #lafcpug on Twitter and posting here as I get significant info. Let's make an effort to not duplicate info, too.

Apple is scheduled from 7:30-8:30 Pacific Time. That's 8:30 Mountain, 9:30 Central, 10:30 Eastern, and way-past-your-bed-time for those in Europe.

Will see you all there then. Hoping for the best!

We run on Indian time here, which actually may be more accurate than Apple time...

OK, 15 minutes to go, and I'm here. I have my other Firefox tab open to #lafcpug on Twitter. I have a fresh drink made. I'm ready to rock! Just wish I had a cigar...

Looks like we're getting a new 7toX update from Philip and Intelligent Assistance that export XML audio for ProTools.

Yeah, I'm watching the tweetchat.com/room/lafcpug feed. I'm surprised Philip Hodgetts didn't do Logic, or mention Logic XML support.

It's have to be Xto7, cause FCP 7 XML should be readable by ProTools already.

We're only half way through, and they've already cover 3 of 4 things on the list. Still have half the presentation left.

It's all stuff we know already.
