color_correcting_zombies

So you want the blood to stand out a bit more in your latest zombie film that you're editing on FCP7. Denver Riddle shows us how to add a bit more 'bite' (sorry) to your indie production.

You are probably aware of Denver's work already, he produced the very popular and comprehensive free 15 part guide to color correction in FCPX.

In this tutorial he gets to grips with color correction to emphasise the blood and also tweaks the blacks and highlights to give the video that indie film look. He uses Magic Bullet Looks, but the techniques can be applied to a variety of color correction tools for Final Cut Pro and FCPX.
