Managing your sound effects and batch renaming in Final Cut Pro X and fixing multiple lighting sources in Blackmagic Design's DaVinci Resolve. It must be a Tuesday and time for the Ripple tutorial roundup.

In this week's new episode of MacBreak Studio, Steve Martin shows Mark Spencer how to organise sound effects in FCPX. You might have just opened up the sound effects in the window on the bottom right before, but there is a better way of previewing those effects. A few great tips from Steve that as Mark says 'will save a lot of time.'

If you would like to watch more FCPX tutorials from Steve, then this is a great time to head over to Ripple Training's brand spanking new website. Many great tutorials for beginners to advanced on Motion, FCPX and DaVinci Resolve.

Mark has the week off this time, so Steve Martin returns to show us how to batch rename clips in under 5 minutes. He's so good he does it in under two and a half!

Alexis Van Hurkman returns for his third episode of using Blackmagic Design's DaVinci 'Resolve in a rush' with tips on how to balance mixed lighting. See how tools such as Power Windows and Hue vs.Sat Curves can help cure the problem.
