Following on from last week's part one tutorial on storyboarding, Steve and Mark take a longer look at placeholders in this second tutorial.
As we saw in last week's part one tutorial, the placeholder generators in FCPX are flexible and offer a quick way plan out a scene on the timeline.
In this week's part two episode of MacBreak Studio, Steve Martin shows Mark Spencer how the placeholder can be expanded by opening up a copy in Motion. Different parameters of objects can be published giving the plugin extra functionality and flexibility.
A cool trick that applies to a lot of the built-in plugin in FCPX, not just the placeholder generator.
If you are wondering where Steve & Mark's five minute videos are, so are we! We would imagine that the Thanksgiving break has delayed the publication, we will post them as soon as we get notice they are on YouTube.
