We got a bit busy over the last couple of days with the publication of our Tour de France article, so time to catch up with Ripple's three weekly tutorial videos.
First of the three is the latest episode of MacBreak Studio. This week Steve Martin shows Mark Spencer how to use subroles in FCPX when exporting audio. As FCPX is not a track based system, using subroles allows the editor to choose exactly what audio elements get exported out into separate files. Although we don't go into the subrole domain, we daily use roles when outputting full mix and clean effects tracks on broadcast masters. Very flexible and very clever.
As always, don't forget that Steve and Mark have a great set of tutorials for Final Cut Pro X and Motion (from beginner to advanced) over on the Ripple Training website.
Next up is Mark on his own who shows us how to build a video wall in Motion.
Finally, Steve is back for another of his FCPX 5 minutes. In this new episode, he shows us how to organise footage quickly. Also the answer is yes, we sit there puzzled wondering where our footage has gone!
