FxFactory Pro 3 from Noise Industries was officially announced by press release today. We have two copies of this revolutionary set of plugins for Final Cut Pro X and FCP7 to give away.
The recent release of FxFactory 3 was a huge update and we have already reported on the new third party plugins that use FxFactory as a platform. We thought we would take another look at FxFactory Pro though as it seemed to be pushed slightly out of the limelight in comparison to the other new products.
When Noise Industries first brought FxFactory to market they were they plugin newbies and went face to face with the existing large plugin producers. They bought new technology to their plugins by not only being the first company to harness the power of the GPU with FXPlug, but also by offering end users the ability to build their own plugins using Quartz Composer.
The number of plugins in FxFactory Pro has expanded over the years as have the hosts the plugins will support. The new release supports Final Cut Pro 6, 7, and X; Motion 3, 4 and 5; Final Cut Express 4; and Adobe After Effects CS3, CS4, CS5 and CS5.5.

The great news is that this is a free upgrade for exisiting FxFactory Pro customers.
"FxFactory 3 is the largest software release in the company's history," comments Niclas Bahn, business development manager, Noise Industries. "Aside from offering this major upgrade free for our existing customers, we are rolling out seven brand new products, vastly expanding the visual effects options and capabilities for Final Cut Pro X editors. And this is just the beginning."
