Following his two very successful previous manuals, Edgar Rothermich has released a graphically enhanced manual for Compressor 4.
Edgar Rothermich's previous two manuals have been a huge success, his intuitive graphic way of displaying information has been a hit with the FCPX community. He's now released Compressor 4 - How it Works, the next in the series. The manual is a 69 page PDF download that retails for $3.99 although a hard copy version will be available through Amazon in a couple of weeks.
"What are Graphically Enhanced Manuals (GEM)? They're a new type of manual with a visual approach that helps you UNDERSTAND a program, not just LEARN it. No need to read through 500 of pages of dry text explanations. Rich graphics and diagrams help you to get that "aha" effect and make it easy to comprehend difficult concepts. The Graphically Enhanced Manuals help you master a program much faster with a much deeper understanding of concepts, features and workflows in a very intuitive way that is easy to understand."
Although we are familiar with Compressor, we're going to sit down with a large coffee and enjoy going through his new book. We've posted a few example pages from the book below and reposted the links to his previous publications on FCPX.
