*** Winners announced***
Today Idustrial Revolution has announced that its popular particle effect filter and transition plugin ParticleMetrix is now available for Final Cut Pro X. We have five copies of this flexible plugin to give away.
A great way to use particle effects in FCPX, the ParticleMetrix website reads:
"Explode video into stars or burn it up into smoke. Write on text with glitter or dissolve objects into bubbles. Add sparkle to transitions, or shatter into pixels. All are one click away with ParticleMetrix.
This revolutionary plugin turns live video, objects and text into particle emitters. Literally blow anything up into thousands of particles using pre-loaded or user specified pieces."
This competion is now closed and congatulations to the winners
If you are one of the lucky 5 then please contact editor(at)fcp(dot)co for details on how to claim your prize.
The plugin comes with large variety of different loaded effects and transitions that that work in FCPX, Motion5, Final Cut Pro 6&7, Motion 3&4, Final Cut Express 4 and Adobe After Effects 8 to 10.5. There is a free watermaked trial available on the website should you want to give it a go. The demo video was produced before FCPX was available.
ParticleMetrix uses FxFactory, the plugin management system that allows third parties to build and licence plugins. The comapny that writes FxFactory, Noise Industries was only one of three companies that had products ready when FCPX was released. They also produce some excellent tutorials, this one being for ParticleMetrix in Final Cut Pro X.
