openfootage

You've got to love all those people who contribute so selflessly to the Open Source community, and we're big fans of Austria's Markus Huber who runs OpenFootage.Net, it's an open source stock footage library. There's free timelapse videos, textures and more for your productions. What more could you want? More after the break.

Markus has got some high quality stuff in there: 2k for textures, tileable, HD video content for the timelapse series. It's all available under the Creative Commons Agreement, and you just need to credit OpenFootage.Net at the end of your piece.

His reason for doing all this? He doesn't want his material gathering dust on the shelf.
