// DL, unzip and put into ~/Movies/Motion Templates/Titles //

Fun with Motion! Would love to see this plug-in in action on tomorrows avail iMacPro ;)

The Inspector offers just a view settings, more or less self-explanatory:

UIRubbertwist.jpg

Steps - the higher the smoother … but the max. value turns my 2012 mini into a brick stone … on slower machines, this plugin has an overwhelming number of computations to execute.

Lights - allows to combine three lights, Left/Middle/Right … different materials ask for diff. Light-situations. Just try.

Up/down defines, from where the twirl comes…

… select fonts, materials, sizes etc in the ‘normal’ settings of the Inspector.

… a bit ‘beta’, sorry … feel free to improve, share results here ;)

This work makes me very happy. Finally someone uses 3D replicators. Bravo! They are very powerful but as you may have noticed they are difficult to handle. Just change the anchor point or the position of one of the rotation axes or the size of the object chosen as seed and everything changes. But I love them, They are irreplaceable, think that without their use I could never do many of my work: "the watch", "The Bicycle", "The Kaleidoscope" to name a few. This time I just comment, you're going good and for now you do not need any suggestions. Ciao Pielle

Ciao, sensei!

… using Replicators to mimic 3D was a common technique pre 3D/10_3, if you remember … so, stapling copies of an object is a 'legitimate' workaround to create solids. And indeed, tweaking with axis and anchors and … is cumbersome (if one'S not a Master in Space like you ) …

And/But:
That technique creates instantly moiré … to avoid that, I put the max of the Steps slider in my plugin to insane 700 … => too much for the average household Mac :woohoo: , keeping in mind, that the source objects alone have bazillion of trixles and light bounces and not wot else. -

Tried lowering settings in quality, reflections etc - lil' hope. A silly workaround. But nice results LOL!!

THANKS for you nice comment!
