Hello there !

This is my first post :)

Im relatively new to final cut pro x. Actually to shooting and editing period. I have only done 3 videos now. And yes i have searched around for this answer, but I'm not sure what to call this effect. So I'm sorry if this question has been answered before. Im not trying not to be a forum noob.

But to the main question. Other than blading and cutting up a clip a ton is there a plug in or some easy way to create this effect. Here is an example :

vimeo.com/82532870

Thanks !

Hi,

This website have a few good plug ins, and can say almost with certainty that the film in your example link was made using one of these or similar. Check them out.

store.pixelfilmstudios.com/plugin/produb-plugin

You usually need Apples Motion software installed to use plug ins, no using of motion is requited, its just a compatibility ting.

Good luck.

Hey,

I'm new to all this as well - and wanted to create a flashing effect to a track I was using. I ended up with FCPEffects BPM plugin. Did exactly what I wanted....
