I am editing some music videos which have multiple takes synced into a multicam clip and edited on the timeline. I usually go through each edit along the timeline and adjust colour and contrast, but I'm thinking I can save time by adjusting the clips in the multicam. However I can't seem to find a way to monitor the clips in the multicam while adjusting colour and contrast. I must be missing something simple - what should I do?

oh dear, I'm dumb - just realised I need to click on the small tv icon on each multicam clip to view it and grade at the same time...

You have to select your mc clip and open it (CMD+alt+O) and grade your clips there. You can have the mc viewer on or off.

The problem with this is you grade the whole clips including all the parts you may not use, which is not handy if you have a lot of exposure and color temperature changes.

I'm doing it right now for an event of 2 hours and it's a pain though still faster than grading each clip after the edit.

Another option; In your main Timeline, grade one clip, copy, select all the others from the same source that need the same grade, Paste Attributes to all of them at once.
