Hi,
This is my first post here. I hope I can learn more from you all :)
I used to work with the FCP7 and then iMovie for instagram clips I make, but after upgrading to high Sierra (10.13.5) on an old MBP 2012 decided to migrate to the FCPX 10.4
Now I realised things are a little too different here!

I tried to use jpeg files from photoshop in my clip. I imported them and they show on the browser and can drag them to the timeline, but some of them doesn't appear on the viewer when I move the indicator on them. When I play, one or two appears at the end of picture place in the timeline.
After googling this I found other users with the same issue, but couldn't find the reason.

Sometimes changing the quality option of the view to PROXY can help. Sometimes Copy and past the whole project to a new library can help, but none of these are a real solution.
Can you tell me why this is happening?
Thanks

Importing and working with jpegs should be the easiest, most straightforward thing to do. The solution probably is very simple. It would help us see what's going on if you made a screencapture of the phenomenon (i.e. with QT), upload it to youtube (unlisted is as good as private) and show it here (how you drag the clip from browser to timeline and play it back there).
