I flipped a couple of clips in the timeline and, annoyingly, random clips earlier in the timeline had flipped as well. They were not selected. Now every clip I add is also flipped. I have an adjustment layer on top. Could this be part of the problem?

So my questions are:

How might this have happened?
What can I do to ensure that clips added to the timeline are properly oriented?

If the flip effect is in the adjustment layer, that will affect every clip under it. So yes, the adjustment layer is the issue. If you only want one or two clips flipped, apply it to those clips, not an adjustment layer.

Yes, thank you. I must have it selected by accident. It's sorted now :cheer:
