I have just finished my project and using "share" am trying to write to DVD. However, I can't change the "volume name" for soma reason or other. Am trying to use 聖ヨハネ会75周年 (sorry its Japanese I know) but it keeps reverting to a plain '75' as you can see in the file below. Have tried trashing preference just on the off chance that it might help but no go. Can anybody please help or suggest what I may do to rectify this.

I want to use 聖ヨハネ会75周年 in both the "Title" and "Volume Name". Isnt this possible?

Thanking you

… just a stab in the foggy dark = don't know, just assumptions :

Does the antique DVD standard support volume names beyond 8 characters (very old MS-DOS limitation) anyhow?

Thank you for your reply. I had thought of the same thing this afternoon and tried the two following things. I changed the volume name to:

1. file 3 which didnt work because I guess it was too long. But in English anyway.
2. file 2 worked on a shorter version of roughly the same thing. I had wanted the longer form but I guess beggers cant be choosers.
