My 2 backup drives failed within a couple of days of each other, meaning I've had to send them off to a data recovery company.
The first drive they've checked has the list of damaged files. Most are not so important, or have more than one version of each, BUT, the only file within my latest edit that is damaged is the lock-info file. I need to know if I should tell them to go ahead with the recovery of this drive, or will I have problems opening my edit in fcp? It's going to cost me money to repair the other drive before I can even get a file list off it, so this first drive recovery is my cheaper option, if my edit will work when opened.

Any advice welcome!
