I upgraded to High Sierra and Final Cut Pro X 10.4.1 and now Final Cut Pro makes green flash glitches at the beginning and end of video clips after they're exported.

Using Macbook Pro 13 inch. Source files are H.264. Exporting with Share Apple Devices 720p - Apple ProRes 422 .

After a lot of headache, one way to make this better is to transcode the source and make optimized media but that creates huge files. A few GB for a few minutes. I never had to do that before.

Anyone know how I can fix this and make it work as good as the previous version?

Any reason why you're not on Mojave with latest FCPX version? Just curious.

What year is your MBP, how much RAM, are you using a secondary drive for media and Libraries?

To start with, delete all render files, delete pref files.
