I'm creating a bunch of films with burned in captions, and on export some of the captions end up very blurry, and some are sharp and clear as they should be. Any ideas?

I'm creating the captions in Speedscriber, importing into FCPX, then on export to Vimeo I'm burning in the captions.

Ok - I've found a workaround. I figured out that the captions were taking on the transformations of the clip they're attached to ! So the base clip was scaled to 200% and the captions that were connected to also became blurry (but not bigger). I then noticed that captions were exported sharp when other text layers were also present. So I put a blank text layer above the entire project and sure enough the captions are exported correctly - sharp .

This is definitely a bug though, and my work-around isn't ideal when dealing with multiple videos to produce!

Hi Andreas,

First, sorry for toxic diversion,

Just happen to explore spherico website, Is VCC compatible with FCPX 10.4 & Mojavi OS ? and do you have how to guide to your templates and plug in?

Many thanks,

Hi Soran,

VCC not really cares about FCP X or any other thing.
As long as the diskutil stuff is part the OS and FCP can handle Camera Cards it will work.

Not sure what you mean by "do you have how to guide to your templates and plug in"

-Andreas
