What are people's experiences with editing 360 video in FCP X...I have two problems with it.
First is that when editing a 360 video FCP doesn't seem to maintain the angle of view throughout the edit. Either this is a bug or I am doing something wrong, but when I set an angle for one clip then move on tow several others in the same movie and adjust their angle of view, it changes the angle of view in the first editing instance!

Second, when I uploaded my video to You Tube and Vimeo, the angle of view displayed is different to what iI chose. What is the reason for this? I think it is my mistake but i don't know what I did to make it do this.

I've been working on 360 projects from a little before they gave us native support. So far, I haven't seen the problem with angle of view changing. Are you just "changing" the angle of view in the viewport (under the View menu, Show in Viewer->360)? That doesn't change the angle of view, that lets you preview in 360 by using the mouse to look around. To reset it to neutral, go to the top right of that window, under "Settings->Reset Angle".

If you want to change the angle of view (FCPX calls it "orientation"), you have to select the clip, then go to the inspector and change the "Reorient" property. You have controls for Tilt (X), Pan(Y), and Roll (Z).
