Hi All..

I would like to know, I have a 2013 retina 13 inch macbook Pro with 8GB of RAM, and it is a bit slow with Final Cut Pro X, I would like to know if I buy an 21 inch iMac, if this would speed up editing a bit...would the iMac make things a bit faster???

Not sure it works like that...
Thanks
Justine

a new 21 inch imac will kill a 2013 13" mbp.. but def get the i7 processor, (at least) 16GB ram... and an SSD (512B, at least; you can always store projects on an external drive). in fact, i've just described my own plan for january..

The iMac GPU and such will be much faster and more efficient. You'd notice an improvement.
