Hi all,

I'm having a headache trying to copy a project to a new library. Other projects will copy ok but this one won't. Every time I go to copy it it goes through all the boxes for export and comes up with no error but literally nothing happens. No project copied or proxies. Unfortunately it's an hour long sequence with lots of proxies from Red R3D files so would take forever to transcode again so retranscoding isn't an option. If anyone has any suggestions that would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Pete

What exactly are you doing? The standard procedure is to put the project inside an event and drag the event from one library to another.

Thanks for replying. Inside FCPX I select the event I want to copy and then go to File - Copy to library and select the new library. I've also tried dragging the event into the new library within FCPX. Other events work when doing this.

Thanks

Where’s the other library? Separate drive? How’s it formatted? What are read/write permissions?

I take it nothing happens after you use the File>Copy function and nothing appears in the other library.

The other library is on another drive. The drive I'm trying to write to is Mac OS Extended Journalled with read-write permissions.

Yes, it takes me through the steps to copy but when I click ok nothing happens
