And that's when I see that Resolve is now becoming a one-stop shop for creating a movie from A to Z that I really hope Apple will finally integrate the roles based mixer in FCPX very soon. Cause really, it's the only thing that prevents me from making "simple" projects entirely within FCPX since I find that going to a DAW for mixing is still the most efficient way to do it ... for now.

I haven't had time to check this out.

I noticed online they refer to supporting "VSTs" with no mention of AU. Any ideas whether Resolve still supports AudioUnits??

DaVinci Resolve is great and we recently used the latest version 14 for a grade the other day, but it still continues the Blackmagic tradition of "work fast, keep adding stuff" and otherwise being very buggy for any new features. Case in point is sound, which is still not ready for prime time after many betas. I still get random cut-outs on playback, especially when mixing bit/sample rates. But I hold out hope that some day it will be sorted out.
