I moved some media from a project from the 'Original Media' folder of my FCP X event and into another folder to test the X relink capabilities. Of course, my event files and project clips went missing. I selected all the clips in the event, went to FILE->RELINK EVENT FILES and 90% of the files relinked properly but 2 files didn't. When I try and relink each of those files individually, I get the error message "The new file is not long enough to cover clip..."

Why would only a couple of the clips not reconnect?
Is there a way to force the reconnection?

Doesn't make sense to me.

Thanks in advance!

Is there a fix for this? I have a large project where I transcoded all of the media to lower resolution via Compressor. Now it's time to relink back to the full-res footage and some of them simply won't relink. The error message says: "the new file is not long enough to cover clip." This is not true. All the media was transcoded the exact same way and resides on the same folder. Why are some shots relinking and others not?
